PERACTO® is a water-based pigment technology with integrated binder capabilities where synthetic nano-pigments are embedded into the textile via a unique dual binding system.
With our advanced PERACTO® formulation outperform conventional pigment technologies in terms of color fastness, vibrancy and hand feel.
Conventional pigments merely adhere to the material surface via a top-applied binder (glue), making it easier to be rubbed or washed off, and much more noticeable to the touch.

About 20% of the global waste water pollution is the result of industrial sewage from the fashion industry. (United Nations)
With PERACTO® pigment technology, water-intensive production steps, such as soaping, washing and steaming, can be eliminated from the digital inkjet printing and continuous textile dyeing process.
PERACTO® enables a highly-efficient, low-water process, aiming to positively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goal of reducing water scarcity and pollution (SDG 6), by shifting from wet to dry processing.

„The fashion industry accounts for around 3-10% of global GHG emissions.“ (McKinsey)
With our pigment-based inks and dyes, textile manufacturers can bypass energy-intensive production steps, such as high-temperature washing, steaming and additional drying from their textile coloration process.
PERACTO® products enable a low-energy process, aiming to positively contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goal of combating climate change and its impacts (SDG13).

While PERACTO® works especially well on cellulosic fabrics, our technology can be utilized fiber independently.
PERACTO® products are suitable for both natural and synthetic fibers, and fiber blends, which allows textile manufacturers to use the same set of inks for a wide range of textiles without the need to switch their ink chemistry.
For conventional dyes, such as reactive or acid dyes, a substrate-specific dye chemistry is required to chemically bond with the fiber.
