Hello You!
Digital Textile Printing.
Which printheads can I use with PERACTOJet® pigment inks?
Our PERACTOJet® pigment inks were developed for piezo-printheads.
We offer three different levels of viscosity (low, medium and high), which are compatible with state-of-the art printheads used in the industry, for example Kyocera, Epson, Ricoh, Fuji, etc.
Do I require a pretreatment when using PERACTOJet® pigment inks?
No, a pre-treatment is not required when utilizing PERACTOJet® pigment inks. Our inks achieve good color strength and color fastness on the majority of materials without the need to pretreat.
Applying a pretreatment, however, is optional. In some cases, it can enhance color properties and might be recommendable, specifically on polyester. We recommend testing each material individually.
When you speak of a pretreatment, what are you referring to?
We refer to a pretreatment as an additional chemical coating (print primer) applied to the textile surface to improve ink adhesion and print quality. On the majority of textiles a pretreatment is not necessary when utilizing our inks.
Do your inks require any traditional textile preparation?
Yes, they do. While we do not require an additional print pretreatment (primer), we still require the textile to be free of any impurities, such as oils, residue etc., which is why the material has to undergo traditional textile preparations such as singing, bleaching, scouring, mercerization, etc.
Are PERACTOJet® pigment inks suitable for screenprinting?
No. Our PERACTOJet® pigment inks are designed exclusively for digital inkjet printing.
Which textile materials are suitable for PERACTOJet® pigment inks?
PERACTOJet® inks are suitable for natural and synthetic fibers and fiber blends. Materials made of cellulose work especially well. However, it is our recommendation to test the compatibility of each material individually.
Are PERACTOJet® inks certified?
Yes. Our PERACTOJet® inks are certified with an OEKO-TEX® ECO PASSPORT, ZDHC MRSL 3.1 Conformance Level 1 and are REACH compliant.
Continuous Textile Dyeing.
What type of dye is PERACTOPad®?
PERACTOPad® is a water-based pigment ink suitable for the continuous dyeing of textiles.
We refer to PERACTOPad® as a pigmented dye as it is used for the process of dyeing, however, in technical terms, PERACTOPad® is ink-based.
Did you know?
A dye is a colorant that is soluble in water and chemically bonds with the textile fiber. An ink is non-soluble in water and interacts with the textile via a mechanical bond.

What type of dyeing process can I use PERACTOPad® for?
PERACTOPad® was developed for continuous pad dyeing. While PERACTOPad® can be adopted for spray and yarn dyeing, PERACTOPad® is not suitable for exhaust or garment dyeing.
Can I create mix colors with PERACTOPad® dyes?
Yes. Our dyes come in liquid form and can be mixed to create a wide range of mix colors.
Are PERACTOPad® dyes certified?
Yes. Our PERACTOPad® dyes are certified with an OEKO-TEX ECO PASSPORT, ZDHC MRSL 3.1 Conformance Level 1 and are REACH compliant.
Is the dyeing process with PERACTOPad® water-intensive?
No, not at all. The only water used during the dyeing process with PERACTOPad® is the water required in the actual dye formulation itself.
No additional water is required during the dyeing process. No hours-long dye baths, no washing or steaming, just pad and dry.
